One way to demonstrate open-mindedness in the classroom is to have expose students to cultural excursions.

I have been showing videos on acts of kindness from different cultures. I am trying to show the students that people from different groups are trying to make the world a better place through acts of kindness. Kindness is humane and you lose nothing by being kind.
